National High School Combine Association Helping High School Kids Show Their Football Talents with College Exposure

(PRWEB) January 14, 2005

The “Combine is an event that tests a combination of several skills including speed, power, strength, and agility. These skills are used to evaluate an athlete’s overall skill level. This event makes it easy for college scouts to see a variety of athletes and for athletes to increase their exposure to many different Division I, II and III colleges from across the nation.

The criterion for eligibility is any High School Football athletes going into 11th, or 12th grade.

The NHSCA provides an opportunity to those who participate to showcase their skills and talents to collegiate football coaches and recruiters from NAIA and NCAA Division I, II, and III football programs.

The cost of attending the NHSCA is a non-refundable early deposit of $ 55.00 or an on site registration fee of $ 75.00. This fee will cover the cost of your NHSCA T-shirt, individual printout of your combine results, and exposure to college coaches.

Due to the amount of athletes expected at the National High School Combine Association and the time constraints, we will only allow an athlete to participate in one position, (i.e. If a player plays two positions in high school, please select a position that you feel you would play in college). The variety of drills and skills demonstrated will give college coaches a true understanding of the player’s speed, strength and agility.

Certified Athletic Trainers from Xcellerate Sports will perform the testing and recording. Their staff is highly trained and all data will be objective. All tests will be standardized and some special equipment may be brought in to assure accurate results.

We will make available combine tape of each group. If you are interested, on the bottom of the application letter it states that it will take 8-10 weeks from the date of the Combine to receive your tape. The individual tapes are mailed out as soon as they are completed. We try very hard to have all the tapes completed and mailed out within 6 weeks, as we know you are anxious to send this information to your schools of interest.

NHSCA Football Performance & Grade Combine will provide Scholarship as a means of encouraging excellence in academic performance among student-athletes. This $ 250.00 scholarship will be awarded to one eligible athlete attending a 2005 Football Combine.
